PARKWAY CENTRAL ICE HOCKEY CLUB PROUDLY ANNOUNCES 2024-2025 HEAD COACHING STAFF

 PCIH Hockey Families,

The PCIH Board of Directors is pleased to announce our Head coaching staff for the upcoming 2024-2025 fall/winter hockey season as well as our upcoming Summer Camp. This staff is comprised of experienced, dedicated, and successful coaches. As a club, we value team play and personal development, which leads to a winning culture.

Head Coach Brian Lowery has accepted the position of head coach of our Varsity team this season. Coach Lowery spent 2 years as the Fort Zumwalt West goalie, 2 years as an assistant coach with Washington University ACHA D3, 2 years as an assistant coach with Maryville ACHA D2, and 1 year as an advisor to Washington University ACHA D3.

He has also spent many years playing. He started his playing career with the St. Peter’s Spirit, spent 1 year at U16 Chesterfield Central States, 1 year at St. Louis Frontnacs GLJHL, 1 year at U18 Chesterfield Central States, 1 year at Lindenwood D2 ACHA, and 2 years at Lindenwood D1 Roller Hockey.

Coach Lowery is working to build his coaching staff; we will update you as the information comes in.

Head Coach Chris Reed has accepted the position as head coach of our B team this season. Coach Reed started playing hockey in 1986 for Webster Hockey Association (now the Rockets). He is currently still playing in a local Men's league. Coach Chris played 4 years of Varsity for Webster High School. He started coaching for Webster Hockey Association once he graduated college and coached two years of PeeWee AA (U12).

From there he began his career in fitness and nutrition. He became a certified personal trainer and worked with a variety of personal clients but also several local companies advising on Wellness programs and policy. Once the opportunity to join the Parkway Central High School Hockey Club came to be, I jumped at it. My daughters are either in or have graduated from Parkway Central schools so it's a great way for me to give back to our community.

His goal in coaching is to make sure our players have fun, learn life skills, represent their community, and grow into adulthood. He also wants to help our players to learn how to properly train and fuel themselves not just for hockey but for life. He takes his role with this organization very seriously as it allows him to have a positive impact on people and give back to the game of hockey which has been vital to him as a person.

Coach Reed is working to build his coaching staff; we will update as the information comes in.
